Founded in 1997, Lucent Polymers has become one of the leading suppliers of recycled and value-added compounds to customers all over the United States and internationally. Lucent has been able to sustain compounded annual growth rates of over 30% through its combination of delivering high quality materials at very low prices, achieving significant cost savings for our customers in the process.

Lucent currently has over 12 compounding lines in two separate facilities, each with a full service QA lab. To ensure that we can maintain our focus on delivering the lowest cost materials, we have invested in the following capabilities that allow us to use all forms of material;

In an effort to separate ourselves from the competition, we have focused a large amount of our human capital into the development and formulation of materials for new products and new markets for our customers. We have been able to partner with several customers to provide materials that meet certain physical properties at very low prices, thereby helping to create new markets and products for engineered resins as well as commodity resins. We continue to look for new markets to expand the plastic market.

Our specialty on the engineering resin side is in polycarbonate and polycarbonate-alloys. In addition, we have a broad product line that includes ABS, PBT, PEI, Nylon and many more. Our specialty on the commodity side is on filled and reinforced polypropylene, as well as polyethylene.
